Discussion of new Flood Hazard Zone maps and flood insurance requirements

FEMA engineer Kathy Schaefer and regional flood insurance specialist Jana Critchfield explain and present information about new flood hazard maps and zones for Calaveras County, and flood insurance that may be required.  Info includes how to determine if your house is in or out of a flood zone, how to determine risk and if you need insurance for your lender, how to obtain Letters of Determination or Map Amendments, and how to get more information.
